We can’t wait to meet you and your baby, and no one wants to scramble for a pediatrician when their baby is born (trust us, you’ll have some other stuff going on!) Give us a call to schedule a complimentary prenatal visit with one of our providers. Telemedicine visits are also available!

We understand that it’s a commitment to choose a pediatrician for your kid, and we know that you may also be meeting with other offices. We get it! It’s important to us that you have a positive experience every time you come in—even if it’s not with Summit Pediatrics!

When you meet with us, we’ll ask you about your family and make sure that all of your questions and concerns are addressed. Our staff can confirm your insurance*, and tell you about our appointment and office policies.

A couple of big policies you should know about:

• We require all of our patients to receive a Vitamin K injection at birth. Here’s why.

• We require our families to follow guidelines for routine childhood vaccinations.

*Did you know that for the first 30 days, babies are usually covered under a parent’s insurance? Maybe! Did you know that it may be DAD’s insurance??! Yep, if both parents are insured, the parent with birthday earliest in the year is the primary insured party. It’s always helpful to check with your insurances on what their newborn care policies are, and we can also help clear up any confusion!
